Well it's official now and Brandon has the diploma to prove it. On Saturday morning, Dr. Brandon Matthew Davis was announced as one of the recipients of the highest degree that Purdue University can bestow. Brandon's mom, sister, aunt, my mom, dad, Carter and I were there to watch the special occasion.
We then hosted a brunch at our house.
Words cannot express the pride I feel in his accomplishment. Brandon has worked so hard and deserves every bit of this achievement. Who would've thought that the 22 year old Lori and 20 year old Brandon would've made it this far. When we moved to Purdue we lived in a 300 sq. ft. apartment. Brandon rode the bus to school because we only had one car. We played board games for entertainment because my private school salary was not enough for misc. spending. Now we feel on top of the world.
