We have met with the attorney twice. He is a very nice man and seems confident that this will all go smoothly and quickly.
We also interviewed and selected a pediatrician. She is wonderful. We instantly felt at ease, and we feel that she is a good match for us. The facility is beautiful, and the services they offer are amazing. She spent 45 minutes with us answering every question we prepared...and she did it all for FREE. We've heard of the initial consultation being free but usually around 15 minutes in length. We were pleasantly surprised.
We have continued to receive goodies for the baby. Our families are amazing! Baby Davis will definitely not go without. Mom and Dad got us the crib and dresser/changing table. It arrived a week ago and is sitting in the living room waiting to be assembled....which is on the to do list for this afternoon. Brandon's mom got us the bedding set and mobile. The bedding set is the cutest with airplanes and helicopters. All of the wings and propellers are made of a different color of corduroy. Just Darling! Kara, Tim, Riley, Mom, and Dad met me last week to give me more goodies that they had purchased...outfits, shoes, and lots of diapers...264 of them. My favorites are the sailor outfit that Mom and Dad bought and the baby cowboy boots that Kara, Tim, and Riley bought. Adorable!
This weekend has been spent finishing the nursery. Below are some pictures that I have taken over the last couple of weeks.

Brandon and I have definitely decided that we are not "This Old House" material, but we have had some laughs along the way. The best part for me was watching Brandon as he remembered wood working with his grandpa. Not a day goes by that we don't miss him, but it was nice to think about him and tell stories as we worked the day away. We will post more pictures soon of the finished room.
