Stroller Shopping

Saturday was a beautiful day for stroller shopping at Babies R Us. Grandma has purchased the stroller, car seat combo for all of the first great grandkids. Saturday was our day to go shopping and pick out the one we wanted. We have spent weeks researching and looking at strollers of all kinds, so I had a pretty good idea what we were looking for. Of course the kind we wanted is one of the most popular kinds and was temporarily out of stock. Ours should be in on Monday. I figure that this worked out best because now I have earned another dinner out when Brandon and I go to pick it up.

While we were at Babies R Us, Grandma got us a lamp for the nursery, we picked up an extra base for the car seat, and we picked out a crib mattress compliments of Kara, Tim, and Riley. Of course, I also bought three more bibs.

We finished our trip with lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Grandma had never been there before and since it is one of our favorite places, we decided the 30 minute wait was worth it. Of course, we ate too much for lunch and had to take our cheesecake home.

Even more exciting for me than picking out our stroller and car seat was the fact that my 84 year old grandma is still here to share this time with us. I am so happy that Baby Davis will get to meet my G-Ma, and that she will be here to see me be a mom.
