Can you believe it? Another month has passed. Carter continues to grow and change at such a quick pace. He is now talking like crazy, smiling tons, and laughing at the funny faces we make at him. He also has this adorable little smirk. He can inch his way off of any blanket while on his back or on his belly and he continues to love to be sung to. Daddy sings Beatles songs and Mommy sings songs from Grease and other musicals. He is getting better at sleeping at night, but we are still waiting for him to sleep through the night. Secretly Mommy doesn't mind getting up for a feeding because that means that she gets in more snuggle time. Mommy may change her mind when she has to go back to work in August! He also is teething. While no teeth have appeared, we are certain that they are lurking just beneath the surface. He now loves chewing on his hands, our fingers, and his bibs. He is not a big fan of his teething toys. He also produces enough drool to solve the drought problem in several small countries.
With a face like this, he has Mommy and Daddy right where he wants them.
The next month will be very exciting with time spent with family, swimming for the first time, and Carter's first fireworks. Stay tuned for all of our new adventures.
