Brandon and Riley spent most of their time running for the candy that the people threw into the crowd.
I think that Riley was glad to have Uncle Brandon's help.
They collected an amazing amount of candy....a gallon and a half Ziploc bag! Pretty soon Carter will be big enough to get in on all of the candy craziness.
That evening we attended a cook-out at Kara and Tim's house. They had a perfect view for watching the Walton fireworks.
On Saturday, July 5th we spent some time helping Kara and Tim work on their old farm house. We then spent the afternoon and evening at Mom and Dad's. Brandon's Mom, Sister, Granny, and Aunt also came. Kara did a wonderful fireworks display that evening in memory of our cousin, Kacy. She even had a video full of pictures of Kacy that she showed in between the main fireworks and the grand finale. The evening was capped off with a fire and smores. Yummy!
Brandon and I keep talking about how busy our schedule is and how often we are packing a suitcase to go for the weekend, but we enjoy being able to spend lots of time with our family and friends. I am pretty sure that we are destined to live out of suitcases on the weekends! :)
