Brandon is now beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Yesterday he selected his fourth thesis committee member, Dr. Lytle. Brandon had Dr. Lytle for a couple of classes, and as a graduate of MIT, Brandon thinks that he is "wicked smart". Brandon was glad that he was available to be on the committee.
Brandon's thesis is now 80% finished and he is inching closer to the day that we can call him "Doc". He still frequently gets questions about when he will begin accepting patients. I have to chuckle every time because while Brandon's bedside manner is great, his medical knowledge isn't up to par with a med school graduate. Scrubs and ER just aren't as educational as they used to be. All the same, a PhD in chemistry is a HUGE achievement and I am soooo proud of him.
