JULY
We celebrated Granny's birthday,
swam a lot,
had fun with our cousins from Virginia,
and went to the park a bunch.
AUGUST
We had our 2nd Annual Grandma's Luncheon,
went on vacation (which included Lake Michigan, time with the Amish, our Family Fun Day...the day we celebrate Carter's finalized adoption, and lunch at a diner from Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives),
helping Aunt Kara harvest potatoes, playing with Riley
and visiting everyone at Granny's. Carter loves the piano she has there.
SEPTEMBER
SEPTEMBER
We hosted our second House Party,
worked on our teeth brushing skills,
and held a celebration for Daddy when he got his new job.
OCTOBER
We celebrated Daddy and Uncle Tim's birthdays,
enjoyed the fall weather,
took our first trip to Naperville...notice the shirts on our first night,
and celebrated Halloween.
NOVEMBER
Carter's cowboy craze started,
we went to see Veggie Tales Live, and we had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Unfortunately I forgot my camera on Thanksgiving.
DECEMBER
Several of our friends gathered to wish us well after we moved,
we celebrated Memaw's birthday with lunch at Steak-n-Shake,
made our second trip to Naperville,
had a FANTASTIC Christmas,
and moved to our new home in Naperville, IL.
(Editor's Comment: This was not a torture method, nor were we planning on shipping Carter. This was how Daddy and Carter passed the time while waiting for the mover's after the bulk of toys had been packed. Carter wanted to be wrapped like a mummy.)
