Family Fun Day

One year ago today Carter's adoption was finalized and our dream of being parents became a legal reality. A few weeks ago Brandon and I decided that we needed to do something together to celebrate so we dubbed it "Family Fun Day". Brandon took the day off of work and we debated about what to do. We finally settled on Indiana Beach. Carter had never been, had never rode a merry-go-round, hadn't been on the water since Labor Day last year, had never had a famous IB taco...the list goes on and on. So this morning we packed up and headed to Monticello. It was a nice day to be on the water...not too hot, not too cold, just right for our little bear. :) Here's some pictures of our day...

Carter loved the rides, food, and water show
but he had the most fun pushing his stroller around. :)

We played several games. Mommy is a skeeball wizard and Daddy is the leap frog champion. He ended up winning us three stuffed animals. We finally had to stop playing games because we had no more room for animals.

We had a wonderful Family Fun Day. It was a nice day just the three of us thinking about all the joy Carter has brought us and how blessed we are.
